Other Questions & Answers

Other Questions

I have an old doll and want to know its value. Can you help me with that?

We are strictly a retail doll store and do not have information on doll values. We suggest buying a copy of the Blue Book Of Dolls & Values which can be purchased through our website or in our retail store.

How do I go about having my doll signed by the artist?

Every fall, several artists visit our store and sign dolls or certificates for customers. The roster of artists visiting varies from year to year. We usually have information by mid-summer, check with us then.

My doll came with no certificate. How do I get one?

Some dolls do not come with certificates, but if you think your doll is missing its certificate, please call us at 336-632-4600, and we will try to get one from the manufacturer.

Do you buy secondary market dolls?

The Doll Market buys only new dolls from the manufacturer.

Do you sell gift certificates?

We sell gift certificates for any amount, good for 90 days. No exceptions.  Any amount not used for purchases after 90 days will be forfeited.

What does SOE mean?

SOE means sold out edition. This means that once dolls shops sell what they have in stock of this doll, no more can be ordered, the item is no longer in production.

What does LE mean?

LE followed by a number means that the doll is a limited edition and only a certain number of this doll has been or will be made. For example, LE 750 means that only 750 of this doll exist and no more will be made after 750.
