About Us

History of The Doll Market

The Doll Market is located in the lovely city of Greensboro, North Carolina. It is considered to be "the largest doll shop in the USA!" With over 30,000 square feet of dolls, it's hard to imagine that there is a doll store any bigger!

As you can imagine, thousands upon thousands of dolls, bears, and accessories can be found here. Prices range from under $10 to $6,000. All major doll lines and doll artists are represented. In addition, the store has the ability to ship out almost anything within 24 hours. If it's available from the manufacturer, then we can order it and ship accordingly! The Doll Market slogan is Service, Price, and Selection. We offer the greatest selection, best prices, and prompt service.

The Doll Market also hosts many personal appearances each year by some of the best known and best loved national and international doll artists. Germany's Hildegard Gunzel and Sonja Hartman, Australia's Gwen McNeil, England's Paul Crees, New Zealand's Jan McLean, and Robert Tonner, Lynn Randolph, Wendy Lawton, Reva Schick, and Virginia Turner have all appeared here. For those who are unable to attend an artist signing, most dolls from the current year's collection can be pre-ordered, signed, and then shipped.
