Cooler, hipper and definitely presenting a new version of the classic Oz tale written by L. Frank Baum, This version is the inspiration of his great grandson, Roger S. Baum.

12 inch pale pink, cloth Glinda is a stylized doll built on a round, solid base, very reminiscent of pincushion dolls. She, with a screened on face, has big blue eyes, red lips and quilted, blonde yarn hair dressed in a bang flip. Her 18th century style gown features a pale pink satin bodice, which has puffed sleeves, and a pleated underskirt that becomes elaborate with the addition of a cascade of stuffed pink poufs. The poufs, embellished with embroidered white flowers and teardrop pearls, along with stuffed, pink velour shoes and a charming crown with a star motif, add the finishing touches to Glinda whose clothes are completely attached.
